Job summary
Performs a full range of screening and diagnostic imaging procedures to provide optimum information for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.Responsibilities
- Plans the performance of the imaging procedure based on needs of the patient (to include all exams within job scope.).
- Maintains an expertise in anatomy, physiology and pathology relative to imaging in order to optimize the procedure and ensure patient care/safety.
- Evaluates images for compliance with protocol, image density, contrast, detail positioning compression and absence of image artifact. Assures proper patient identification appears on every image.
