    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position requiring a KY or compact license and recent acute care experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a 25-bed Med Surg/Telemetry unit in an acute care, critical access hospital
    • Night shift position from 19:00 to 07:30
    • Patient ratio is typically 1:5 but may fluctuate with census
    • Rotating weekly schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
    • Meditech EMR is used and prior experience is preferred
    • Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
    • Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
    • No local candidates will be accepted for this position
    • Supporting documentation such as references and identification may be required for consideration

    Requirements

    • Active KY or compact RN license required
    • Minimum 2 years of recent acute hospital experience
    • Current BLS, ACLS (AHA only), and NIHSS certifications required
    • Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
