    Description


    View Point Health is a community behavioral health center utilizing a team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed counselors and social workers, and other professionals to provide services to individuals who need treatment and support to cope with mental illness, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

    View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support.

    The services provided by View Point Health contribute to the reduction in homelessness, reduction in crime and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits and decreased inpatient admissions.

    Under general supervision, identifies barriers to employment, refers clients to other support agencies, and assist clients/consumers with job readiness skills, job search strategies, and job interview preparation.

    Provides job placement and consumer/client employment assessments.

    View Point Health Supported Employment Program provides assistance to individuals that are interested in obtaining employment within the current job market.

    The program offers continuous support and services throughout the duration of employment along with onsite skills training to develop work habits and confidence.

    Bachelor's degree in business management, business administration, or behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university OR High school diploma or GED AND Three years of experience providing education, social or direct care services to persons with diagnosed special needs or other populations OR Two years of experience at the lower level Training/Employment Tech 2 (SST051) or position equivalent.
