Machine Operator - Print and Corrugated Industry

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, operating and maintaining high speed machinery to ensure the efficient and precise manufacturing of corrugated packaging products. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a dedication to upholding quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and adjust corrugated manufacturing machinery, including corrugators, die-cutters, and folder gluers.

Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.

Load raw materials, such as paperboard and adhesive, into machines and adjust settings as needed.

Inspect finished products for quality defects, such as wrinkles, tears, or misaligned cuts, and make adjustments to maintain product quality.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to keep machinery in optimal condition.

Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines, communicating effectively to coordinate workflow.

Complete production logs and records accurately to track output, downtime, and quality control metrics.

Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in corrugated manufacturing operations.

Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding environmental sustainability and resource conservation in manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a machine operator in the corrugated packaging industry is preferred but not required.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and operate complex machinery.

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections of finished products.

Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting and carrying materials and standing for extended periods.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in an industrial manufacturing environment.
