    About the role:


    As Associate Marketing Manager in the Journals Marketing division of the B2C marketing organization, you will partner primarily with the Publishing Organisation and external editorial contacts, and the wider Marketing organization to create compelling go-to-market strategies for our portfolio in Australia.


    You will be responsible for a suite of journals, help develop researcher-focused plans that drive our relationship with users and authors, delivering submissions/readership growth and increased reader engagement as well as improved journal brand experience, as well as society relationship management and improved journal brand experience.


    We hope you have a strong collaborative approach, good business and analytical skills and have strong communication skills enabling you to interact with a range of different stakeholders independently.

    You will be part of a high-performing, focused team delivering best-in-class product marketing.

    You care about improving researchers' experience of our journals, improving journal brand -awareness and engagement, always with the goal of achieving article growth and driving open access revenue, and society satisfaction.


    How you will make an impact:

    Help implement brand awareness and lead generation strategies to establish, maintain or improve the position of the portfolio of journals.

    Help develop effective product positioning and messaging and deliver effective campaign and program briefings.
    Collaborate with subject matter and community experts.
    Understand marketing best practice and key marketing deliverables.
    Collaborate with colleagues across marketing organisation to deliver marketing programs that meet journal goals.
    Maintain society relationships.

    We are looking for people who:
    Education to degree level or equivalent
    Background in professional services, or academia. Experience in publishing will be desired.
    Knowledge and understanding of systems and processes which support the marketing and sales functions.
    Knowledge of relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
    Good business acumen and an ability to keep focused on achieving KPIs.
