    We are in search of an outgoing and skilled individual to take on the role of Director of Community Relations. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and business development within an assisted living, healthcare, or hospitality setting. You should have a deep understanding of the industry and be able to effectively promote our outstanding assisted living residences to the community with professionalism and flair. This position involves both inside sales and community outreach to attract new business opportunities. Familiarity with local referral sources is a plus. The job entails 80% Inside Sales and 20% Outreach work (one day per week).

    Main responsibilities:

    • Welcome all visitors warmly and engage with them
    • Handle inquiry calls professionally to schedule visits
    • Work closely with the Executive Director to establish an effective resident referral program
    • Lead tours for potential residents and their families
    • Maintain a prospect database and collaborate with referral sources
    • Utilize sales training methods to follow up with prospects and schedule visits
    • Build relationships with referral sources through regular outreach efforts
    • Organize marketing events and manage marketing materials
    • Attend networking events to generate leads and community visits
    • Track apartment inventory and prepare various reports
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    This is a full-time position that includes working one weekend day per week (Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs).

    Requirements:

    • Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing
    • Prior experience in sales or business development in a related field
    • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets
    • Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively and connect with various individuals
    • Professional demeanor with attention to detail
    • Excellent phone and computer skills
    • Compassionate and patient attitude
    • Must be a Notary Public or willing to obtain a license within 6 months
