Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using modern technologies such as React-based frontend ,
- Manage and optimize our MySQL databases with a focus on complex query optimization and performance tuning ,
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to translate business needs into technical solutions ,
- Owning the evolution and maintenance of our legacy Java/Spring platform while driving modernization effortsEnsure data integrity system observability across backend servicesIntegrate maintain connections third-party APIs ensuring reliability proper error handlingImplement secure authentication authorization using JWT OAuth other modern auth patternsLead contractor teams coordinate distributed engineering efforts multiple work streamsBuild maintain Docker containerized applications strict adherence CI/CD pipelines GitHub ActionsWrite comprehensive tests Jest backend services support Selenium based frontend testingConduct load testing performance analysis ensure systems can handle production scalerespond resolve production incidents including participating on-call rotation neededEnsure data integrity system observability monitoring all backend servicestake part code reviews contribute shared engineering standards documentationMentor junior mid-level engineers collaboration feedbackContribute technical direction OneApp continues scale
