- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Self-Direction Reimbursement Specialists.
- Oversee accurate and timely processing of reimbursements.
- Communicate with staff, participants, families, and brokers for necessary clarification when reviewing reimbursements.
- Provide resolution for disputed invoices.
- Provide Quality Review/Training for staff as needed.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a human service or finance field is preferred.
- Applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Work Experience Requirements: A minimum of five years working in the human services field. Education may be considered in lieu of this requirement. A minimum of three years supervisory experience is required.
- Knowledge: OPWDD Policies and Procedures; Independent Living Philosophy and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Financial acumen. Mathematical, Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge.
- Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent customer service. Interpersonal, computer and organization skills. Ability to make decisions independently. Problem solving. Ability to work with diverse individuals. Manage uncomfortable situations.
- 37.5 hour work week, 7.5 hour work day, flexible work schedule menu to include the ability to work: a four-day work week, four-day work week, every other week, or a typical five-day work schedule
- 16 annual vacation days, 12 annual sick days, and 13 annual paid holidays (now includes Eid-Al-Fitr and Yom Kippur)
