Description

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Specialist.
• Provide oneonone support to students with special needs, targeting the reduction of challenging behaviors and the development of appropriate social and communication skills.
• Collect and record data on student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions, ensuring accurate and consistent documentation.
• Assist in the assessment and evaluation of student behavior to contribute to the development and modification of behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and other team members to implement strategies and supports to promote positive behavior in various educational settings.
• Follow established protocols and behavior management techniques to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and staff.
• Provide support and training to teachers and other staff members regarding behavior management strategies and techniques.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and collaborating on behavior support strategies.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and supervision sessions as required.
