- Assemble, install, and test machines to ensure they are operating correctly
- Adhere to approved safety regulations at all times
- Manage layout and placement of machinery for optimized factory operations
- Identify and repair problematic machine parts
- Dismantle older machines and replace them with new ones as needed
- Oversee preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues
- Use machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts
- Read and understand specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints to perform tasks
- Work on various factory equipment including pumps, conveyor belts, scrolls, bearings, generators, turbines, and seals
- Troubleshoot and rebuild vacuum pumps and air compressors
- Proficiency in assembling and installing machines, testing them for functionality
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
