    Description

    Job Title: Field Service Technician - Toner Production Equipment (Level 2)

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a specialist for our product line, you will demonstrate a full working knowledge of the equipment, including theory of operation and mechanics.

    This is a remote position, and the ideal candidate is located in or willing to relocate to the Lincoln, NE area.

    The Graphic Communications Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation is the largest graphic distributor in the US, delivering world-class solutions for Ink Jet Printing, Digital Printing, Wide Format, Offset Plates, Packaging, and traditional Offset supplies.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide on-site support for installations and service repairs to customers in North America.
    • Solve complex service issues and maintain close communication with Technical Service Manager, Regional Service Manager, and Technical Phone Support team.
    • Develop strong working relationships with customers and perform pre-installation assessments and site inspections of equipment.
    • Complete and submit service activity information and paperwork timely to the appropriate group/department.
    • Monitor and manage the return of all parts and manage Preventative Maintenance requirements.
    • Attend training classes to stay current on new and existing products.
    • Work weekends and overtime as needed for installations, service calls, and training.
    • Provide technical support and direction to technicians, conduct technical training classes, and provide sales assistance in demos and customer visits.
    • Monitor critical accounts and actively participate in support activities to resolve issues quickly.

    Requirements

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Two-year electronics or mechanical engineering degree or equivalent field experience.
    • 2+ years of field service experience with toner-based production equipment.
    • Extensive knowledge in electronics and mechanical operation.
    • Outstanding customer service skills.
    • Computer skills, emphasizing operating systems and hardware.
    • Valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant) and passport.
    • Ability to travel extensively.
