- Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
- Administer all aspects of contracts(including subcontracts), drafting of agreements, modifications.
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance if/when required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
- A strong mathematical background.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) with the ability to communicate with all levels of management including internal and external customers excellent organization skills and detail-oriented.
- Must be a team player, detail-oriented, positive attitude, and ability to work at times with minimal supervision and produce results.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Description

We are looking for a Contracts Specialist to join our team to support the Contracts team.
The candidate will acquire knowledge of government contract administration principles and practices. They will be responsible for overseeing contract performance by monitoring the budget, compliance documents, schedules, and deliverables. Additionally, the candidate will gain an understanding of subcontracting and purchasing procedures following the CPSR guidelines (purchasing as required per contract) by having a strong mathematical background.
Your day-to-day work will include:
Work Type: Hybrid (Remote 50%. In-Office 50% Huntsville, AL)
Estimated Salary Range: $50,000 to $55,000
The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
