Description

We are looking to add an experienced Land Surveyor to our growing team in Santa Ana, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Drafts survey documents
• Assist in developing project scope and schedules. Manage project timelines and interface with clients, contractors, and field personnel.
• Reduce and process field data, sketches, and digital data. Draft line work into AutoCAD from collected survey data.
• Work with field and office personnel to produce Record of Surveys, ALTA surveys, plats, boundary line agreements and adjustments, and any other document required for project completion.
• Research legal and survey records to obtain information pertaining to deeds, easements, right of ways, etc.
• Perform topographic mapping and construction staking preparation.
• Assist in training of the survey department and maintaining company standards.

Requirements:

• PLS certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
• Comprehensive knowledge of state survey standards.
• Possess field experience in all types of land surveying.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
