- Degree in Civil Engineering 10 years relevant experience practicing as a geotechnical engineer. Strong written and oral communication skills Valid Drivers License. Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical engineering emphasis. Experience with specialty testing methods such as CPT, PDA, cross-hole sonic logging, geophysical testing, etc.
- Develop local and regional client relationships to obtain opportunities for geotechnical engineering investigations and construction materials testing services.
- Manage various geotechnical engineering investigation projects including high-end private facilities, industrial facilities, schools, universities, manufacturing, dams and transportation.
- Perform complex geotechnical engineering investigations, analyses and development of appropriate solutions to complex geotechnical problems.
- Development of final geotechnical engineering design recommendations suitable for use in the design of construction of the related facility.
- Mentor staff personnel. Project management of all phases of projects including, drilling, lab testing, engineering analyses, report preparation, invoicing and client management.
- Management and control of project budgets. Technical and fee proposal preparation. Reviewing reports prepared by other staff.

- Mathematics, science, and geological knowledge.
- Ability to draw basic sketches.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering from a program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Coursework may include subjects such as: Foundation engineering.
