Job Description
Position Purpose
You'll plan, execute and report out learnings of IoT hardware test/validation activities. You'll also support Brambles teams in troubleshooting and improving IoT hardware solutions.
Major/Key Accountabilities
Execute day to day activities, reporting, and communications.
Be a key point of contact for other Brambles teams and manage resources in completing test activities to meet deadlines.
Support the development and improvement of hardware products and features:Become knowledgeable of IoT Solution's hardware capabilities and features.
Execute the hardware testing and validation of devices.
Support device failure troubleshooting and resolution, and when needed plan and execute tests to identify failures.
Support IoT Solution's hardware development by working with Edge Team and providing expertise during the design stages
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders on resource and material planning necessary to execute hardware testing and validation.
Be Digital Operations Stage Gate to ensure Digital Solution Meets the operational needs of the customer.Industry Analysis and Support
Evaluate competitor IoT products/solutions and provide assessments to Team on performance, gaps and development needs.
Keep up to date with latest industry standards and advancements in IoT devices.
Qualifications
Technical degree in
Mechatronics(Mechanical
and Electrical) or Electrical Engineering with experience/exposure in Product Introduction and hardware Testing.
Have flexible work schedule to collaborate with cross functional team members and support activities in other time zones.
Strong Excel skills using features like pivot tables and other advanced functions.
Must be willing to travel to support Brambles Digital activities up to 30% travel. Must be able to travel Internationally if needed.
Proven history of collaborating with stakeholders both remotely and in person.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Essential Qualifications
Good experience in
durability/reliability
testing and validation.
Experience developing test plans, executing tests, and providing analysis and reports on test results.
Be self-driven, hands on, and communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
Be analytical and methodical.
Desirable Qualifications
Exposure with IoT and/or hardware design or fabrication.
Experience in new
product/solution/equipment
development and launches as user or provider.
Customer facing experience
Experience
2+ years' experience developing, executing, and reporting test and validation activities.
2+ years' experience with hardware/IoT device operation product design or introduction.
1+ year with focus on product durability and reliability activities
Skills and Knowledge
Proven technical skills related to hardware technologies.
Proven knowledge and experience in hardware testing and validation.
Strong data analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Preferred Education
Bachelors - Electrical Engineering
