    We are seeking a skilled Referral Specialist to join our team at Genesis Prime Care. As a key member of our clinic, you will play a vital role in coordinating referral processes and ensuring seamless patient care.

    Responsibilities

    • Clinical Coordination:
      • Prepare referrals and obtain authorizations and pre-certifications as required by providers and insurance companies.
      • Verify patients' benefits and eligibility for services.
      • Coordinate with patients, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to facilitate referral processes.
    • Administrative Duties:
      • Provide clerical support to clinical staff, including data entry, document management, and communication with patients and healthcare providers.
      • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and statistics related to referral processes.
      • Fulfill various administrative duties, such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and securing necessary signatures.
    • Communication and Liaison:
      • Communicate effectively with patients, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient referral processes.
      • Act as a liaison between hospitals, physicians, health plans, vendors, and patients to coordinate referrals and resolve issues.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience: One (1) year of practice experience in a clinic office setting or relevant field.
    • Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
    • Skills:
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate medical terminology.
      • Proficiency in using office equipment, including computers, fax machines, telephones, and copiers.
      • Knowledge of medical protocols, OSHA standards, and hazard materials handling.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
