    Description

    Our client in manufacturing and engineering is looking for a Documentation Control Specialist with a focus on Engineering. If you're the right fit, you'll be managing and controlling engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards and regulations, in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage engineering processes like ECO, new product release, and technical publications.
    • Control engineering data in systems like MRP (Syteline) and Quality Management database.
    • Handle all engineering documentation including CAD models, assembly docs, and test procedures.
    • Manage ECO process and assist in ISO 9001 registration activities.
    • Recommend and implement engineering data management tools as necessary.
    • Provide regular updates to management on data management functions.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams to ensure accurate engineering data.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices implementation.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology; bachelor's degree in engineering is a plus.
    • At least 5 years' experience with MRP/ERP in management of mechanical systems data.
    • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and project management skills.
    • Strong communication and organizational abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
    • Experience in ISO 9001 environment and familiarity with engineering standards.
    • Proficiency in CAD Systems (Solidworks preferred) and MS Office.
