Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting and Human Resources specialist to join our Physicians' group. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting and human resource functions to support financial reporting, and payroll and hiring processes. This position also includes several administrative duties that require office experience such as contract applications and review and company correspondence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Utilize QuickBooks accounting software.
- Support tax compliance efforts by preparing necessary documentation and collaborating with tax professionals.
Requirements
- Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Knowledge of financial concepts such as journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ability to prepare financial statements, budgets and cash flow analysis.
- Effective mentoring skills with the ability to guide less experienced team members in technical accounting practices.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Experience with office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Experience with payroll preparation and human resources functions such as hiring, terminations and employee benefits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52, $72,000.00 per year
