We are currently looking for an experienced:

REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

Part Time, Weekends - (7pm - 7am)

Job Description:

Ensure quality nursing care for patients in accordance with physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and Facility protocols.
Administer prescribed medications (oral, s.q., I.M., or I.V.) following physician's instructions and Facility guidelines.
Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to nursing assistants and orderlies.
Support physicians during rounds when necessary.
Stay with and attend to patients during physician rounds, examinations, and treatments.
Complete scheduled treatments during the shift and maintain proper documentation. Implement infection control measures as needed.
Adhere to cleanliness, infection control regulations, and Standard/Universal Precautions.
Participate in research activities related to nursing care quality as assigned.
Assist in managing records, orders, and assessments of new admissions. Coordinate patients' annual physicals with attending physician and ensure timely completion of physicals and related documentation.

Job Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Registered Nurse qualification.
Hold a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and provide proof of license renewal biennially.
Demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing and provide quality care following physician directives.
Maintain yearly CPR certification.
Participate in mandatory in-service training and staff meetings.
Ability to supervise nursing assistants to ensure timely and appropriate task completion.
Dependable, flexible, and collaborative in working with nursing staff, other departments, patients, and families.
Capable of making sound decisions regarding nursing issues with awareness of the potential impact on patients.
