- Responsible for accounting for property, plant & equipment, leases & construction in process.
- Includes preparing and making monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepares accurate monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist in projects as needed.
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- 2 years of experience in an accounting position required.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree Accounting or Finance
- Experience with computerized accounting software.
- Solid understanding and proficient use of Excel spreadsheet software.
- Ability to perform and complete multiple assignments within a reasonable period of time.
- Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
- Ability to use standard office equipment (Telephone, Fax Machine, Copier, Typewriter, etc.)
- Ability to perform analytical review of accounts and transactions and communicate results.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office products.

Performs assignments requiring understanding and application of accounting principles, practices and concepts (i.e., preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, etc.).
