    As the Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our client's bank. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Controller will lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate closely with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and achieve organizational goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies, including GAAP and banking regulations.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and risk management strategies.
    • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
    • Strategic Planning: Partner with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
    • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the banking industry.
    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulations, and best practices.
