As part of CACIs Intel Application Services, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nations safety, security, and prosperity. You will participate in the process to gather, documents and groom budgetary system requirements and identify opportunities to engineer solutions that address the requirements. You will actively participate in Engineering Review Board activities applying a systems engineering approach to requirements, ensuring they are well defined and actionable by the development and infrastructure teams.
**Duties include but are not limited to:**
+ End to end requirements generation to Requirements Management.
+ Assessing enterprise needs against current capabilities and generating documentation to support future and current operations and sustainment.
+ Conduct architecture analyses, identify capability gaps, and assess solutions to mitigate capability gaps.
+ Decompose capability gaps into technical requirements and align these with current technical requirements
+ Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation and make charts and graphs to record results
+ Work closely with systems stakeholders by planning the verification efforts of new and unproven designs in early development life cycle stages to ensure compliance with established requirements
+ Develop white papers, studies, and analysis tools for internal and external use based on market research and emerging requirements;
+ Supporting development of technical solutions and architectures, data work flows, plans, work schedules, and success criteria.
+ Delivering products in coordination with the agile project delivery teams and participating in briefings with program and government personnel as required.
+ Assisting with recruitment of new staff members.
+ Other duties as assigned
**Required** **Qualifications:**
+ TS/SCI w/ Poly
+ 6+ years experience and demonstrated knowledge performing as Systems Engineer or deriving system requirements
+ Experience working within an agile sprint development team environment using Jira and Confluence.
+ Ability to creatively collaborate with other program personnel to ensure a unified and well-executed goal.
+ Composure and ability to lead with confidence and calmness when faced with competing high-priority projects and difficult decisions and when delivering presentations.
+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other tools.
+ BA/BS Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science).
**These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:**
+ Experience creating and maintaining a Risk Matrix and Risk Mitigation Plan.
+ Configuration Management/Change Management experience.
+ Knowledge of Jira sufficient to build dashboards and reports.
