Focuses on the inspection, testing and maintenance of systems and equipment to meet all expectations of the Joint Commission. Performs duties related to preventive maintenance and repairs.
Job Description:
Works independently and with vendors to complete system inspection, testing and maintenance of equipment which includes, but is not limited to fire pumps, sprinkler systems, helipad fire suppression system, fire extinguishers, ansul systems and medical gas systems. Maintains all required compliance documentation to meet all Joint Commission expectations. Performs basic repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment. Assists with building maintenance operations including moving, housekeeping and snow removal. Ensures the proper use of and provides care for hand tools, power tools and building materials. Coordinates work of vendors with internal customers.
