Maine Medical Partners-MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a BC/BE clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for their Lewiston based practice. This is a unique hybrid position, providing the opportunity to practice part-time or full-time in a community-based setting while also participating in the dynamic pace of tertiary care at Maine Medical Center, located in Portland. Options include ambulatory-only with limited inpatient consultation and no nights, weekends, or call coverage responsibilities. Opportunities for leadership roles in education and research are also available for the appropriate applicant. Selected candidates will join a team of over 50 cardiologists who provide inpatient, outpatient and consultative services.

Maine Medical Partners-MaineHealth Cardiology is a growing practice, with office locations in Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, and Scarborough, and a nationally recognized inpatient cardiovascular service line at Maine Medical Center which serves as the hub for the extended MaineHealth network. Maine Medical Partners-MaineHealth Cardiology provides patients across the state with the highest quality cardiac care, working closely with other regional hospitals to build a coordinated network of cardiology services.

Maine Medical Center has 700 licensed beds and is the state's leading tertiary hospital, with a full complement of residencies and fellowships and an integral part of the Tufts University Medical School. Long recognized as a leader in cardiac care, The Maine Medical Center Cardiovascular Institute ( remains on the forefront of today's most advanced treatments and procedures, and has been recognized as one of the top 100 programs in the United States. This comprehensive program provides the highest level of expertise and leading edge technology, such that patients don't need to leave the state for quality heart care. We are pleased to share that the hospital is in the process of building a five-story patient care tower dedicated to cardiovascular excellence. It will be home to 19 new procedure rooms, including several hybrid ORs, as well as 64 new private patient rooms. The building is scheduled to open in early 2023.
