There's no one like you and that's why there's nowhere like RSM.The Senior Functional Analyst's primary responsibility is to understand product gaps and proactively design solutions to resolve them, as well as ensure that developed products meet and match the business application standards.
Working directly with industry leads, you will elicit, analyze, write, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and best practices and assist in the validation and testing of new products and/or features.
Under the general direction of Industry leads, the Functional Analyst will play an integral part of the team responsible for developing new technologies and products.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Sales, Support and industry leads to validate and prioritize requirements and agree on assumptions and constraints
Organize, model, and specify requirements with the appropriate level of detail given complexity, risk, and audience
Prepare for requirements elicitation sessions using a variety of techniques including, but not limited to: interviews, requirements workshops, observation, interface analysis, and industry experts
Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by project team members
Assist in traceability of requirements to ensure alignment to project goals and objectives as well as alignment to development and testing plans
Work with marketing to ensure new product features and benefits are clearly communicated to customers
Analyze internal tools
and
identify
functional
gaps
Create product roadmap and manage project documentation
Work with internal development and quality teams to validate product meets Microsoft and RSM best practice and standards
Ensure delivered products meet and fulfill established requirements
Assist in determining that delivered products are usable for end users
Along with stakeholders, assist in streamlining existing processes from UI/end user experience
Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
related field
or
equivalent experience
Proficient
in
MS
Office products such
as
Word,
PowerPoint,
Visio
Deep
skill
level
in
Microsoft
Excel
Knowledge
of
project management tools
Minimum
of 2
years of
business
analysis experience
Experience
in
developing operational
and
financial
reports
Experience
analyzing
and
reconciling
data
from multiple sources
Understands software implementation methodologies, structures, and concepts
Experience
in data
analysis projects
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
&
Power
BI
preferred
