- Read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic schematics and identify operation of system
- Read and Understand PLC Ladder Logic
- Understand and apply National Electrical Code to projects and installations.
- Install, operate and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and systems
- Inspect and test electronic equipment using multi-meters, ammeters
- Troubleshoot 24V analog and digital circuitry, electric motors and identify failures in the plant
- Set up and troubleshoot VFDs
- Install, Program and Troubleshoot and Repair Heating/Cooling Controllers, AC/DC motor drives, PLC systems, and production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify and repair mechanical malfunctions
- Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly & maintenance
- Monitor installed equipment to identify potential failures
- AAS degree in Electrical Technology or related field, or a minimum of five (5) years Electronic Technician experience with a solid understanding of electrical trouble shooting and machine function.
- Able to effectively redirect efforts on short notice
- Proficient computer skills
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills
- Understand Three Phase Electrical systems up to 480V
- Understand PLC and AC/DC Drive Software
- Arc Flash Codes and Requirements
- Experience in Control and PID Loops
- Cross-functional team player

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking qualified candidates to fill an Electronics Technician position at their Prescott Valley, AZ facility.
Pay:
$ $36.00 per hour depending on experience.
Shift Premium:
$2.50 an hour for any hours worked between 7pm to 7am.
Schedule:
Night shift 5:00pm-5:00am on a 3/2 schedule, after training is complete.
