Job summary
The Senior Learning Specialist oversees research design development of Training programs for Customer Care Collaborates with other Training Specialists THD Learning internal contractors external vendors in creation execution of training deliverables Conducts training needs analysis to determine training objectives instructional strategies project scope time frames resources requirements potential constraints Performs task content analysis to obtain specific information included in the training expected deliverables Uses knowledge instructional design adult learning theories THD translate business requirements into learning requirements curriculum maps course materials Conducts usability test pilots assess training effectiveness Works with Leadership help drive process improvements standards methods tools competencies SSC Call Center Learning Development Team Key Responsibilities Guides directs work team ensure proper course curriculum creation delivery Provides coaching teaching training team Participates planning conducting reviewing any training within Call Center helps assess training effectiveness observation quantitative analysis Provide consistent feedback team this analysis Assists development workplans curriculum maps implementation plans Works associates team Leadership determine individual team departmental trainings Tracks industry trends Training participating various organizations benchmark other internal external organizations Direct Manager Reports Position reports Sr Manager Accountable direct supervision others addition personnel issues selection termination performance appraisal professional development subordinates Travel Requirements Typically overnight travel less than percent time Physical Requirements Most spent sitting comfortable position frequent opportunity move rare occasions need move lift light articles Working Conditions Located comfortable indoor area unpleasant conditions infrequent objectionable Minimum Qualifications Must eighteen years age older Must legally permitted US Preferred Qualifications Experience production execution classroom based adult learning principles Experience creating materials contact center retail organizations Experience supervising teams Experience conducting needs analysis developing curriculum Instructional Design The Home Depot experience plus Minimum Education Knowledge skills abilities acquired completion associate degree program equivalent field study related job Preferred Education No additional education Minimum Years Work Experience None Preferred Years Work Experience None Minimum Leadership None Preferred Leadership None Certifications None Competencies Proficiency software including MS Word MS Powerpoint MS Excel Experience Captivate eLearning Software working knowledge authoringdevelopment tools Director Proficient Project Management principles MS Project Excellent written communication Excellent interpersonal skillsJob description
