- Accurately call and record the hatch residue from each hatchery.
- Responsible for the plating and plating results of each hatcheries sanitation program. Also enter this information into the computer.
- Monitors and accurately records the chick quality from hatchery.
- Monitors and records incubator temperatures.
- Assist in completion of reports.
- Set and record the Egg Fertility.
- Monitors and records egg quality upon receipt.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor (i.e. delivering samples to lab, etc.).
- Must be able to work in a safe manner and report any unsafe concerns.
- Able to communicate in English. (BI-lingual English/Spanish very helpful).
- Able to communicate with internal and external areas of company.
- Ability to work with no supervision and be self motivated.
- Ability to work in wet and dusty (chick down) environment.
- Must adhere to disease control policies.
- Must complete and pass pallet jack training course.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds repeatedly.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
- Ability to maneuver 1500 pound racks on wheels.
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Access based programs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach above head.
- Basic math skills.
