- Conduct prehensive assessments to determine students' visual needs and develop personalized IEPs.
- Implement innovative teaching methods and utilize adaptive technologies to enhance student learning experiences.
- Provide instruction in Braille, orientation and mobility skills, and other essential areas tailored to students' needs.
- Foster collaboration with classroom teachers and related service providers to ensure inclusive educational practices.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to support growth.
- Advocate for students' educational rights and promote awareness of visual impairment challenges within the school munity and beyond.
- Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Certification in Visual Impairment Education (TVI certification).
- Proficiency in Braille and familiarity with assistive technologies.
- Excellent munication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- passion, patience, and a genuine mitment to supporting students with visual impairments.
- Experience in developing IEPs and implementing evidence-based instructional practices is preferred.
