Old Orchard Beach High School is currently seeking qualified summer school teachers.

OOBHS SUMMER ACADEMY POSITIONS:

• OOBHS Summer Academy Math Teacher
• OOBHS Summer Academy Science Teacher
• OOBHS Summer Academy English Teacher
• OOBHS Summer Academy Social Studies Teacher
• OOBHS Summer Academy Special Education Teacher
• OOBHS Summer Academy Coordinator and Online Learning Specialist
• OOBHS Summer Academy Guidance Counselor

SCHEDULE: The schedule for summer academy will be Tuesday, June 11 through Friday, June 21. Each of the content discipline sessions will be scheduled for 3.0 hours per day for 8 days and will be finalized once candidates have been selected.

COMPENSATION: Summer School teacher positions are compensated at the contractual hourly rate.

QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidates will have:

• Maine State Certification
• A desire to help all students achieve and a willingness to work as a collaborative team
• A strong skill set of academic and behavioral intervention techniques and strategies
