    Works alongside the Regional Human Resources Manager (RHRM) and operations group supporting HR activities such as recruiting, performance management, employee relations, people development, and HR process/policy administration. May be aligned to support specific Districts, Regions or Functions. The pay range for this position is $67,000-75,000 per year.

    Major Responsibilities
    • Assists with the implementation of HR strategy in support of short-term and long-term business goals
    • Supports the implementation of HR processes, programs and policies
    • Payroll activities - 2 full days every other week
    • Sourcing, screening, and sending resumes for all potential candidates as needed within the region and setting interviews with the DMs. Various other initiatives including VHEs, In person events, job fairs, etc
    • Prepares and maintains employee files to ensure compliance and audit-readiness. Combine digital and paper needs
    • Proactively addresses employee concerns and is the first level response for employee questions regarding HR programs, processes and policies; escalating to HR management when appropriate.
    • Prepares reports and maintains various spreadsheets for the department and as requested by managers to assist with research/special projects. State specific progressive discipline tracking, WOTC confirmations saved to share drive. Ad-hoc reporting as needed may be seasonal or region specific such as Benefit Enrollment, Mandatory Training Completion, contest results with submission to payroll, pictures to Jen for Weekly Express, etc.
    • Recurring calls with DMs, RVPs on a weekly/monthly basis
    • Acts as backup for HRM when out of office
    • As assigned, gathers appropriate facts and information for basic employee investigations; may help with employee counseling and resolve conflicts as directed
    • Prepares and tracks store level employee CAFs upon request from Field HRM and sends monthly CAF tracker to Region Admin
    • Provides one-on-one coaching with non-managerial employees to support performance and development
    • Assists Field HRM in performance management activities for Field employees, partners with DM to present CAFs and/or present for conversations with employees. (i.e. CAF preparation, distribution and follow up, etc.)
    • For districts using classroom training, assists in scheduling and conducting new hire orientations
    • Reaches out to new hires with their MyHR logins and provides direction on signing Electronic Documents
    • Supports the tactical aspects of implementing change in an organization
    • Supports the annual open enrollment process and on-going benefit issues. Responds to employee questions around benefits and ensures all employees are aware of the timing for their response during Open Enrollment. Monitors the daily reports for follow-up actions as necessary
    • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws which requires an on-going commitment and familiarity with changes in labor laws and regulations. File copies of any HR material

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position might require long hours and weekend work.
