    Mandatory Requirement

    The Tech

    MUST be registered in MRI

    through
    American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT – MR credential required).

    Minimum Qualifications

    Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program
    Active

    ARRT certification
    Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR)
    Position Overview


    The MRI Tech:
    Performs MRI exams as ordered by licensed practitioners
    Produces diagnostic-quality images for interpretation
    Assists radiologists during procedures
    Ensures proper documentation, archiving, and billing
    Retrieves and maintains patient imaging records
    Supports hospital quality improvement initiatives

    This is

    not a cross-trained X-ray tech role .

    Candidate must:
    Be ARRT certified
    Be specifically MRI registered (ARRT-MR)
    Be able to work independently performing MRI exams
