Job Summary:

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth distribution of goods to various locations.

You will be responsible for delivering products efficiently and safely while maintaining a high level of customer service. Your attention to detail and commitment to timely deliveries will contribute to the overall success of our corporate operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely operate delivery vehicles, following all traffic laws and company policies.
Load and unload products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, invoices, and signatures.
Interact professionally with customers upon delivery, providing a positive and courteous experience.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking and loading of delivery items.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks, reporting any issues promptly.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a culture of safety within the delivery team.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized delivery vehicle and storage area.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection.
Understanding of delivery scheduling and route optimization.
Awareness of customer service principles and practices.

Skills:

Excellent driving skills, with a safe and responsible driving record.
Strong time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries.
Attention to detail in verifying delivery items and documentation.
Effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
Basic record-keeping skills to maintain accurate delivery logs.

Abilities:

Ability to work independently and responsibly while managing delivery schedules.
