- This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of service staff technicians that perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Supervise and coordinate the work of technicians with internal staff, outside customers, and contractors
- Plan and schedule projects, ensuring timely completion
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Provide training and guidance to technicians as required
- Field service labor management and service support
- Understand the customer and their facilities
- Promote new business and upgrading of existing agreements by instructing and directing staff to generate and report leads and sales opportunities
- Assure proper staffing, training, tools, systems, and procedures are in place to allow staff to complete all work in a quality and cost-effective manner
- Promptly address customer concerns and resolve with the intent of maintaining a long-term relationships
- Build and maintain positive rapport and working relationships with personnel to resolve problems, gain opportunities and maximize profit
- Scheduling of manpower and coordination among projects and service calls
- Assess workforce, material, tool, and construction equipment needs and arranges for these components to support the needs of all projects
- Minimum of at least four (4) or more years' experience in managing service operations
- Staff management experience is required (5-10 individuals)
- This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage a team effectively in a professional manner
- Ability to problem solve and develop solutions
- Strong knowledge of commercial & industrial mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection)
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership abilities to manage the team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lay out projects and execute in effective manner
- Excellent customer service, organizational and attention to detail skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Teams and Office Suite or related software
