Job summary
The Welder II performs various shop and shipboard welding trade functions using welding/cutting equipment and power hand tools. This includes repairing/ removing old structural materials, installing new ones, and fabricating complex structures.- Apply basic welding processes to join/surface/fabricate or repair metal parts.
- Qualified in Shielded Metal Arc (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc (GTAW) for various metals.
