- Technical expert for compliance and specific issues surrounding the Bio Life Industry. Both Medical Equipment and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing / Marketing Companies
- Support the Sales team in Bio life Science Compliance and Business issues.
- Have detailed knowledge of ISO 13485 compliance requirements.
- Lead the NJMEP effort to establish MedAccred as a viable accreditation for component suppliers to subscribing Medical Equipment OEM's
- Take the Leadership position and work with Director of Vertical Engagement to build a workable business plan to have NJMEP recognized as a go to consultant with Bio Life Science Companies
- Conduct In-person sales calls to assigned life science accounts and assist NJMEP Account Managers as technical backup on Life Science Accounts assigned to account managers. o Achieve KPI's (# of Prospect/Client Meetings, Business Assessments, Proposals, orders and billings) Monthly.
- Determine training offering to offer in NJMEP Open Enrollment Training Classes
- Develop standard products to offer to Life Science Manufacturers
- Coordinate with the Director of Marketing to develop collateral Material for support of the Bio- Life Science Vertical Initiative
- Work with The Director of Marketing to develop outreach activity for the Bio Life Science program.
- Achieve any applicable NIST Goals.
- Adhere to all NJMEP Policies & Procedures.
- Support other NJMEP Programs & Events – including Made in NJ and Manufacturing Day.
- Support Office & Program Administration – as Required.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Bio Life Sciences industry (Either Pharmaceuticals or Medical Equipment)
- Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience
- Must have knowledge regarding business needs and issues within the Bio Life Sciences Industry. o Have detailed knowledge of ISO 13485 compliance requirements.
- Experience in the requirements of Bio Life Sciences and related training, to include but not limited to: o Experience in conducting effective in person training related to bio life sciences. o General Knowledge of Proposals, Endeavors and Project Scheduling o Ability to Act as a Liaison with NJMEP and other regional and National MEP Centers. Serve as SME to support Account Managers on client appointments. o Must demonstrate ability to perform necessary administrative responsibilities associated with the position. o Must demonstrate efficiency with Computers (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) o Must demonstrate Written & Oral Communication Skills
