- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create supportive learning environments.
- Monitor and report on students' progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Conduct professional development sessions for school staff on topics related to mental health, learning disabilities, and behavior management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan student support strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential records of all student interactions and services provided.
- Must meet all local and state requirements for School Psychologists.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Michigan.
- Extensive experience working with special education students and their families.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
