- Design, implement, and maintain PLC and HMI software programs and robotics
- Troubleshoot, test, and debug control systems
- Revise programs to operational order based on customer requirements
- Create electrical schematics and help team members interpret prints/assemble control panels
- Modify program/system logic consisting of multiple systems and subsystems
- Interact with external/internal customers to gain an understanding of the business environment and define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned work
- Create Bill of Materials and maintain other necessary documentation
- Travel to customers' location to help install, test, and debug machinery
- 5-10 years of experience in industrial controls and systems integration preferably at the
- integrator level
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering
- (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient working with RSLogix 5000, AutoCAD Electrical, Allen-Bradley software, Servo drives, robotics, and other industrial logic
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, has excellent attention to detail, and has a willingness to learn new technologies quickly as our team continually adapts to new systems and processes. This includes taking a project from the concept phase to design, sourcing/identifying components, build, debug and startup phases.
- Ability to periodically travel domestically
- We work in typical warehouse environment. This includes but is not limited to exposure to fluctuating temperatures, moderate to high levels of noise, and requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and accommodate extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, etc.
- Most work is performed at our warehouse, but does require occasional travel to customers' locations and warehouses
