    Members can also subscribe to additional channels on Prime Video and watch new movie or TV show rentals and purchases from the Prime Video Store.

    PV is seeking a results-focused Application Engineering Manager to join their team.

    This individual will lead a group of Application developers, Business Analysts and RPA developers to drive application development, process automation and business analytics for the Prime Video organization.

    The Application Engineering manager position calls for someone who brings innovation, strategic vision, a strong voice for priorities, and an ability to efficiently execute against competing demands and organizational initiatives.

    The successful candidate will partner closely with product, program and technology teams both within and across partner teams to define and build engaging experiences that customers will appreciate.

    A highly analytical approach is needed, along with exceptional skills for working in a matrix structure.

    The ability to break down complex problems into discrete steps that enable fast product development at Amazon's pace is also required.

    Key job responsibilities
    As an Application Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:


    • Managing a team of Application developers, Business Analysts and RPA developers to support program and operations teams across all Prime Video regions.
    • Monitoring & Resolution of Trouble Tickets within defined SLA's.
    • Provide your team guidance on support procedures and keeping them engaged.
    • Drive Root Cause Analysis, Impact Analysis and Production Deployment support.
    • Build automated frameworks, tools, solutions to enable stakeholders/business owners monitor health/drive business outcomes (For example: Automated Business/Product Metrics)
    • Build a culture of direct code interaction by nurturing talent towards building applications/debugging & making code level fixes.
    • Regular interactions with various internal business-owners (like engineering teams) to help understand requirements & business priorities, define engagement model and drive improvements.
    • Developing support strategies and creating appropriate harnesses as well as pragmatic approaches for quick & effective support.
    • Resource planning to support various program requests.
    • Drive initiatives to maximize operational efficiency.
    • Defining measurable metrics to gauge progress against objective Support goals.
    • Build best-of-class application engineering team
    • Play a significant role in hiring, developing, and promotion of support engineers of varying technical levels and backgrounds.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • B Tech in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
    • 7+ years of process automation experience. Indepth knowledge of application architecture & design.
    • Expertise in converting business requirements to technical design. Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.
    • Direct management of a team of 5+ application developers or data analysts.
    • Management of resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining bestofclass global engineering teams.
    • Work closely with the engineers and other engineering managers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.
    • Strong understanding of support processes – SLA, handling tickets, monitoring, processes and metrics.
    • Proven ability to write scripts and automation. Understanding of the complete deployment life cycle from design, build, test, deploy.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
