Under Tennessee Board of Nursing scope of practice the Registered Nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and families about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
RNs must use independent and critical judgment in providing a wide variety of services within a critical care environment.The purpose of the Rapid Response Team (RRT) is to provide assessment, early intervention and stabilization for patients and to prevent clinical deterioration or arrest.
Additionally, the RRT will provide teaching, mentoring, and support to our nursing units.You will provide educational opportunities designed to meet the continuing education requirements of the facility
RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
Bachelor's degree is preferred
CPI required within 6 months of hire kept current per hospital requirements
Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting required. TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensive facility. We offer medical and surgical programs. These include behavioral health and 24-hour emergency. These also include neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, rehabilitation, sleep disorder, and women's services. We are an affiliate of TriStar Health. TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 43-acre campus. We are home to TriStar Centennial Women's Hospital.
