    SUMMARY:


    Reporting directly to the Campus Directors of Admissions, the Community Outreach Liaison is responsible for the overall development, implementation and coordination of the Colleges community outreach program that includes inquiry generation, high school show rates and enrollments by representing West Coast University at local high schools and community events.


    Generates inquiries through classroom presentations, networking, attending community events, telemarketing leads and setting appointments for admissions advisors at their respective campuses.

    Assists the admissions advisors with follow up on enrolled students and coordinates stitch events and procedures.


    Collaborates with campus Executive Director and Program Directors to strategize, create and spearhead community outreach partnerships and activities to recruit prospective students in order to increase enrollments in accordance with the mission and purpose of the school within the regulatory framework.

    Performs a variety of complex administrative tasks related to creating and implementing student recruitment plans for the College.

    Manages and coordinates the community outreach program. Leads activities which include but not limited to leading workshops, creating presentations, and crafts seminars for potential student recruitment.

    Employee will ensure College and practices are compliant with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accrediting bodies, and company policies and procedures in concert with WCU campus programs.


    Creates inquiry generation to improve high school show rate and represents West Coast University at local high schools and community events with professionalism.


    Establishes and manages relationships within the community to identify and assist high school students looking to start a career in the allied health care industry, with information and steps necessary to prepare them for entry into career training and college programs.


    Works in collaboration with campus Executive Director to develop strategies to improve program enrollments with special emphasis on transition of high school learners to college and career training programs.

    Community college transfer and clinical partners.

    Researches and pursues grants and other financial resources for the pre-college, high school completion and community outreach program.

    Markets and promotes the Colleges educational services to the community, public and private agencies.


    Coordinates and conducts recruiting presentations regarding the Colleges programs and admission requirements to prospective students, parents and high school counselors.

    Plans and coordinates special recruiting activities including career expose, college fairs, and other special events.

    Provides information to individual prospective students regarding programs and admissions through mail, phone calls, and in person.

    Organizes and coordinates a tracking system for prospective students by maintaining database; sends out follow-up mail and/or phone calls.

    Maintains a database of all High School counselors, teachers and contacts for future reference.

    Promotes soft skills workshops to local high schools and high school educators.

    Analyzes data to designate feeder schools for optimum results and penetration.

    Designs, develops and produces student recruitment materials. Develop and/or update annual marketing and recruitment plan.

    Gathers and analyzes information; prepares and presents a variety of reports on enrollment activities.

    Assists with the enrollment of qualified applicants into programs beneficial to the students career objectives and academic needs.


    Informs the campus community outreach director of the current status of inquiry calls and interviews held with potential students on a daily basis.


    Reviews enrollment objectives with community outreach director and manages the outreach activities on a daily basis to meet weekly enrollment and/or scheduled start goal objectives.


    Confers with new and continuing students to determine satisfaction with instructional quality of services and to assist with retention efforts.

    Evaluates program performance with campus administrative staff, and provides support and direction for improvement of program performance.

    Represents the school at community events, new student orientation, and associate orientations.

    Works closely with Corporate and Campus staff, attends meetings, provides reports, and/or information as needed.


    Participates in professional development and organizations in order to maintain an understanding of current ideas, research and practices, attends meetings, workshops and seminars to enrich personal growth, knowledge and skill in management development.

    Maintains professional appearance for position and serves as a role model, leader and mentor to the campus community.

    Adheres to Company policies and procedures and provides leadership to all staff through guidance and example.


    Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Companys Ethics Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and states laws, and applicable professional standards.

    Maintains confidentiality of all customer, student, associate, and/or company information as required.

    Exercises care, proper use and maintenance of department equipment and supplies and identifies unsafe conditions and makes appropriate adjustments.

    Maintains order, cleanliness and safety at work.

    Performs other job duties as assigned.


    EDUCATION:
    Bachelors degree preferred in education, administration, business management, student personnel, or related field preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE/


    EXPERIENCE:
    Three to five years overall experience in admissions, sales, recruiting in an academic/education environment or related field.

    Strong public speaking skills.

    Knowledge of the principles of sales techniques, event planning administration and community organization as applicable to specialized program area.

    Knowledge of secondary and postsecondary educational programs.

    Experience with MS Office.

    Knowledge of applicable databases and computer application systems to supply the most accurate information, reports and projections
