Job Description:

• The Geographic Information System (GIS) Technician is responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining GIS databases, coverages, layers, and linkages to various databases.
• Duties include reading and interpreting source documents such as civil engineering plans, plot maps, and legal descriptions; and entering required data into the GIS using Global Positioning systems (GPS), AutoCAD, and GIS software.
• The GIS Technician creates maps, performs general analysis, and assists other City departments in utilizing GIS applicational.

• ArcGIS Pro 3.1, ArcGIS Server10.6, AGO, Portal, ArcPy, Model Builder, Survey 123, Experience Builder Programming Skills: Python, JavaScript, , React DataBases: ArcSDE, MS-SQL Server 2019, MS Access, Postgres, Oracle Operating Systems: Windows 10, MS-DOS, UNIX, Linux UX/UI Design Tools: JSON, HTML, XML, CSS, DOJO, Jira MS-Suite: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio 2013, PowerPoint, and MS Access

Experience Required:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a related field.

• Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field.
