    This position is for a leading provider of aluminum sheet, plate, and extrusions, as well as innovative architectural products that advance the automotive, aerospace, commercial transportation, industrial and building and construction markets.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate all phases of assigned area thermal engineering projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations, design, manufacturing, installation, equipment commissioning, and project closure.
    • Use PI Vision and Data Link to analyze process issues and provide input to solve problems.
    • Create and develop combustion control solutions that will support process improvements and improve equipment reliability.
    • Assist production and maintenance with equipment and process issues.
    • PLC/HMI and controls redesign and upgrades of existing processes
    • Participate in technical assessments of equipment.
    • Optimization of process equipment
    • Develop and deploy standard practices.
    • Ability to navigate Rockwell PLCs for troubleshooting a plus
    Provide Off Hours Support as needed

    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or mechanical Engineering with PLC experience (at the time of employment)
    Minimum of 1 year of Electrical or Mechanical Engineer experience in a manufacturing environment (co-op, internships can be included)
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
