Job summary
The School Board of Highlands County is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC systems and be able to analyze and repair equipment.Responsibilities include assisting supervisors with procedures for servicing and repairing air conditioning systems, investigating complaints about failed or poorly operating equipment, making recommendations to resolve indoor air quality issues, working with outside vendors on equipment repair and corrective measures, and reporting directly to the HVAC lead supervisor.
Additional duties may include performing preventative maintenance programs, operating vehicles safely, using tools and equipment properly,
