    Job Overview

    The Sustainability Compliance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with state, federal, and international sustainable fuel programs. You will partner with all levels of the organization to coordinate compliance-related data and documentation. The Sustainability Compliance Coordinator will support internal and external audits and inspections.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate collection of compliance-related data and documentation required by various state, federal, and international sustainable fuel programs.
    • Use systems and databases to organize, manage, and record compliance-related data and documentation.
    • Verify and confirm data and documentation for accuracy and completeness based on customer and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and send documentation for shipments.
    • Maintain Chain of Custody reporting.
    • Participate in meetings, conferences, workshops, and trainings to stay updated on relevant principles and developments for sustainable fuel programs.
    • Support internal and external data requests, certifications, inquiries, audits, inspections, and other activities as needed.

    Administration and Communication

    • Strong understanding of business and ability to operate within business systems applications.
    • Have a continuous improvement mindset and recommend more efficient work processes.
    • Display strong self-motivation when performing repetitive tasks.
    • Maintain organized shipment records for compliance purposes.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.

    Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Desired

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in renewable fuels industry, regulatory compliance, or sustainable energy auditing.
    • Excellent computer acumen, strong MS Excel skills required.
    • Must possess strong problem-solving skills.
    • Must be highly organized with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Proven work or life experience demonstrating teamwork skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
