2A Marketing is seeking an experienced individual with a multitude of skill sets, capable of wearing many hats responsible for multiple duties, and catering to many needs of the agency.
2A Marketing Account Manager's duties are to keep our customers and our agency pleased.
Typically handle a multitude of advertising and marketing accounts, and serve as the primary point of contact of our clients. This individual will also represent the client at company meetings. The job is to communicate both good and bad news to a client with grace, answering questions, and making SURE they receive what they asked for as part of our contractual agreement.
This is a challenging role requiring a careful balance between the clients needs, wants and priorities, and our company's bottom line. This individual will play a crucial role in client retention and potentially bringing in new business.
2A Marketing Account Managers must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You must be able to finesse delicate client relationships while driving 2A Marketing to produce our best results. This individual must know and skillfully manage:
The clients goals and business model
The current market and factors affecting sales, growth, decline, changes, etc.
Branding and advertising techniques including but not limited to creative, research and media management, social media management ad budget control, and more.
Account managers need to know when to pressure and when to let things simmer. The Account Managers job duties include having a strong but non-aggressive leadership style, as they ultimately control our company's use of time and resources, and then present the product deliverables to the client.
Balancing the needs of the client against our company's bottom line, while being driven by a complex timeline of tasks, requires finesse as well as stress management and organizational skills. Collaboration and teamwork is key to this role. In addition to all the soft people skills, the Agency Account Manager must be extremely organized, because you are working with several clients and managing them in unison.
