    Job Title: Lead Specialist - Occupational Medicine

    Location: Richmond, VA 23234

    Duration:13 Weeks

    Shift: Days (8 AM 5 PM)/ 40Hrs/ Week

    Gross Weekly: $3200 - $3600

    Job Description:

    • Clinical experience with health and medical care services may include assessing, examination, and treatment. Follow standing orders and perform clinical lab testing as appropriate.
    • With appropriate training and certification, performs routine surveillance screening/tests, to include but not limited to:
    • Treatment & case management of occupational illness & injuries
    • Understanding of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) recordability
    • Provide general guidance for non-occupational illness & injuries.
    • Substance Abuse Testing
    • Respirator fit tests
    • Spirometry
    • Audiogram
    • Vision screening
    • Phlebotomy and collection of other lab specimens
    • Performs EKGs (as applicable)
    • Administer vaccines as applicable.
    • Provide case management services for disability and work-related cases.
    • Work in collaboration with supervising provider and perform tasks as designated.
    • Collaborate with and communicate effectively with site EH&S Manager, Area Managers, and First Line Supervisors as needed.
    • Provide after-hours clinical support via on-call service. This may include reporting to the site during off hours for injury case management.
    • Provide preventative health, wellness, and Employee Assistance Program guidance and support.
    • Support training initiatives as they relate to Site Emergency Response Teams and health & wellness initiatives.

    Qualification:

    Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license for Virginia & BLS certification.

    3-5 years of Occupational Health Experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.

    Valid driver's license and ability to commute to *** Spruance site in North Chesterfield, VA.

    Knowledge and proficiency with EMRs (Electronic Medical Records). Experience with Cority a plus.

    Proficient at Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point

    Active CAOHC (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation) certification for hearing conservation or willing to obtain.

    NIOSH spirometry certification or willing to obtain.

    Non-DOT Breath alcohol and UDS certification or willing to obtain.
