    About this role:


    As a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

    Our integrated Sports Medicine team uses state-of-the-art techniques, advanced procedures, and innovative therapies to design treatment plans that are customized to our patients' specific needs and address the full continuum of care.


    In your role as a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at the Utah Valley and Payson Clinics , you will establish a practice and presence in Provo, Payson, and surrounding communities.

    You will join a collaborative local team that includes 7 sports medicine physicians and 10 orthopedic subspecialty surgeons.


    We anticipate you seeing patients of all-ages for musculoskeletal conditions, fracture care, sports-related concussions, and procedures, including ultrasound-guided injections and diagnostic ultrasound.


    In this role you can also anticipate:

    Practicing full spectrum sports medicine at the Utah Valley Clinic in Provo, Utah and the Payson Clinic in Payson, Utah.

    Some of your clinical hours will include patient preferred business hours Monday through Friday.

    Providing team coverage for high school to collegiate patients.

    Performing advanced injection techniques such as platelet-rich plasma, nerve blocks, diagnostic ultrasound, etc.

    No call requirements or coverage.

    A signing bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable).


    An ideal candidate will have 10+ years of post fellowship training experience in Sports Medicine, demonstrated success in managing clinical practice, and extensive experience in high school sport coverage.

    What you'll bring:
    MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

    Sports Medicine fellowship trained

    Board certification or eligibility in Primary Care Sports Medicine and Board Certification in Family Medicine

    Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

    Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

    Physical Requirements

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
    $7.25 - $999.99
