    Hotel Equities, a highly acclaimed hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently on the lookout for an exceptional **Part Time Night Auditor/ Front Desk Agent** for the **Home2 Suites by Hilton Carmel Indianapolis** in Carmel, IN. Shifts include: Night Auditor (Overnight Shift 11 PM-7 AM), AM Shift (7 am - 3 pm), PM Shift (3 pm - 11 pm) **Job Purpose:** The Front Desk Night Auditor is often the initial point of contact and the primary impression for guests. Offering warm, knowledgeable service and beneficial guidance to reassure guests of their decision to stay with us. - Check guests in, provide room keys, and offer information on hotel services and room location. - Ensure necessary identification is obtained from guests during check-in in alignment with local legislative requirements. - Respond to calls promptly and courteously. - Upsell rooms when opportunities arise to optimize hotel revenue. - Handle all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. - Document guest preferences in the system. - Manage guest check-outs, including addressing any delayed or disputed charges. - Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions following established procedures. - Manage guest safe-deposit boxes as per hotel protocols. - Communicate any pending guest requests or concerns to management for further attention. - Address and resolve guest issues/complaints utilizing appropriate service recovery guidelines. - Adhere to hotel safety protocols and procedures consistently, reporting any health or safety incidents, security breaches, concerns, or suspicious behavior promptly to the supervisor or duty manager. - Routinely make guest reservations for individuals and/or groups via phone or in-house, process cancellations, revisions, and updates. - Collaborate with other departments, following hotel procedures, to ensure exceptional quality and service. - Perform various duties as assigned, such as guest room tours, concierge services, special requests, etc. **Qualifications and Requirements:** High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent. **Role Specifics:** - Regularly standing up behind the desk and front office areas. - Handling items weighing up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms. - Operating various property management and reservations systems, etc. **Additional:** - Demonstrating a genuine passion for people and service. - Strong communication skills for interactions with guests and colleagues. - Proficiency in reading and writing, frequently used for paperwork and updates. - Basic math abilities for handling cash or credit transactions. - Employing problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training capabilities frequently. - Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. **Exciting Benefits Overview:** - Team-driven and values-based culture. - Availability of same-day pay. - Opportunities for career growth and participation in the Manager Training Program. - Reduced Room Rates across the portfolio.
