    Description
    *Job Overview*
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a passion for helping individuals achieve their maximum potential through therapeutic interventions. You will work with diverse populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities, in various settings such as inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, and home health environments.

    *Responsibilities*

    * Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
    * Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
    * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective discharge planning
    * Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care plans and rehabilitation goals
    * Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments
    * Work with individuals with autism, ensuring tailored approaches to meet their unique needs
    * Engage in early intervention strategies for children requiring occupational therapy services
    * Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and case management principles
    * Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the facility to enhance patient outcomes

    *Experience*
    Candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas:

    * Acute care settings, including ICU experience
    * Skilled nursing facilities and post-acute care environments
    * Home health services providing therapy in patients' residences
    * Outpatient clinics or school-based therapy programs
    * Working with diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics
    * Familiarity with speech therapy practices is a plus

    The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, an ability to work collaboratively within a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.

    Pay: $29.00 - $48.00 per hour
